Terms of Service
Effective July 22, 2026
Agreeing to these terms
By starting or using a MedStitch log, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
MedStitch is a logbook, not medical advice
MedStitch helps caregivers record when medication doses were given and share that record with each other. It is not a medical device or a medical record, and does not give medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Dose timers and daily-cap warnings are based entirely on numbers you enter — MedStitch does not know what is safe for the person you are caring for. Always follow the product label and your doctor or pharmacist. If you think there has been an overdose or a medical emergency, contact emergency services or poison control immediately — do not rely on this app.
For personal, family use
MedStitch is made for individuals and families keeping track of care at home. It is not intended for use by healthcare professionals in their professional capacity, as a clinical tool, or as an official patient record. Please log only what you need, and use first names or nicknames rather than full names, dates of birth, or diagnoses — and keep any free-text notes brief and factual. It keeps your family’s information private and hard to tie to a real person.
You are responsible for the log link
There are no accounts or passwords. Anyone who has a log’s link can view everything in it and add or change entries. Only share a link with people you trust to help care for the patient. We can’t recover a link you lose or un-share a link you’ve sent.
Logs expire unless you keep them
Free logs and everything in them are permanently deleted 7 days after they are created. If any caregiver on a log purchases “keep it forever,” the log stays until you ask us to delete it. Deleted data cannot be recovered.
Purchases
The PDF report and keep-forever upgrades are single, non-subscription payments processed by Stripe. They apply to one log. Because both are delivered immediately, they are generally non-refundable — but if something went wrong with your purchase, email us and we’ll make it right.
Acceptable use
Don’t use MedStitch to store data unrelated to caregiving, to harass anyone, to probe or disrupt the service, or for anything unlawful. We may close logs that abuse the service.
No warranty
MedStitch is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we can’t promise it will always be — sync can lag, notifications can be missed, and the service may be interrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of MedStitch, including decisions made based on information in a log. Never let an app replace your own judgment about someone’s care.
Changes
We may update these terms as MedStitch evolves. The effective date above always reflects the current version, and continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.
